2026 Classroom Assignments
Young men and women become members of the youth program beginning in January of the year they turn 12. Their classes meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month during the 2nd hour of church.
Young Women classes
On April 20, 2026, the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced changes to age-group names for young women. The purpose of the new names is to “help young women understand their divine place in God’s work, to represent their spiritual dignity as His beloved daughters, and to highlight their progression.” To find out more about this change, you can read the original Church News release HERE.
The new names, the ages they correspond to, and the rooms they meet in are listed below. When a young woman turns 18, they may choose to attend Relief Society. Some other possible options are to wait until they have graduated high school or started college before moving on.

Aaronic Priesthood Quorums
When they enter the youth program, young men are separated into quorums by age. When they turn 18, they may choose to attend Elder's Quorum. Some other possible options are to wait until they have graduated high school or started college before moving on.

Combined Youth Presidency Training/Planning Meetings
This meeting is for all youth presidency members, including secretaries, and their adult leaders. It takes place on the 2nd Sunday of every even month--

It begins in the YW Room then splits into separate rooms for individual class planning.
Ward Youth Council
Every 3rd Sunday of the month in the Bishop's Office. It is for all YW and quorum class presidents, one of the bishop's assistants in the priests quorum, the YW president, and the bishopric.
